GET STARTED! Are you ready to improve the quality of your life? The YMCA can help! You're only three steps away from a healthier lifestyle, and a healthier you. Step 1: Fitness Assessment
Let the YMCA determine your present level of fitness by conducting several fitness tests that will evaluate your blood pressure, flexibility, body composition, muscular strength, endurance, and cardiovascular efficiency. Individual fitness programs will be based on your assessment data.
Step 2: Program Introduction
This is a guided introduction to the Y’s strength training equipment. We will use your assessment data to develop a specific program that will help you achieve all of your fitness goals. Orientation will last 30 minutes.
Step 3: Blood Pressure Screening
Keeping track of your blood pressure? The YMCA offers Blood Pressure screenings.
